Rev. Kim Cannon, Music and Worship Arts Director

While living in Washington, D.C. Kim provided music for many congressional functions at the U.S. Capital and coordinated the 1976 choral presentation of “I Love America” with the U.S. Navy Band. For several years he was a member of the Paul Hill Chorale which performed regularly at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

His first piano CD, “I Come to the Garden Alone”, is a collection of the most requested hymns and worship songs from his concerts. Some of the songs included on this recording are “The Old Rugged Cross”, “There is Power in the Blood”, “Oh, How He Loves You and Me”, and “Jesus Paid it All”. His second CD, “Legacy”, is a unique collection of hymns, worship songs, and scripture based prayers. Some of the songs included in this recording are “Lord, I Lift Your Name on High”, “He Is Able”, “There is None Like You”, and “Be Thou My Vision”. “Christmas Keyboard” is his third solo CD and is solo piano with orchestra and contains the favorite songs of the season and earned Kim the opportunity to play at the White House for the December 2005 Holiday Tours and again in 2006.
