Jacob's Ladder Preschool and Parent's Day Out Program

Jacob’s Ladder Preschool and Parent’s Day Out Program was born out of the desire to respond to the Biblical mandate to serve and to serve children: “Let the children come to me and do not hinder them.”
Our purpose is to provide the best environment for the mental, physical, social, emotional and spiritual development of children ages 12-months through 4-years. Teachers use a Bible-centered curriculum and offer a gentle, loving atmosphere for instruction and social growth. Scheduled Classes are held Monday – Friday mornings and observe the Okaloosa County School Calendar Year.

Program Goals
~ Provide a happy, healthy, Christian environment for the whole child.
~ Promote mental, physical, social, emotional and spiritual development.
~ Develop good social skills and encourage working together with peers to achieve a common goal.
~ Provide opportunities for each child to learn at their own rate. Their success in learning will develop the child's self-image.
~ Provide books to teach them to learn to appreciate them and realize the printed words convey meaning.
~ Expose each child to music and other art forms and allow them to express themselves through these forms.
~ Include parents and extended family as an integral part of our pre-school
Caregivers
The Jacob's Ladder program is supervised by a loving teaching staff that has been carefully and prayerfully selected. Each one has also been carefully screened by the State of Florida. All staff members have a minimum of forty hours in child course work. All caregivers are current in CPR and First Aid. Our program meets all the requirements and is licensed by the Department of Children and Families of the State of Florida with the Child Development Associated Credentials (CDA) meeting their standards.
