Downpour (18-23)
The vision of our ministry is derived from Hosea 10:12 which states, "...Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of my love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the Lord, that He may come and shower righteousness upon you." Our desire is for students to passionately pursue Christ, to be saturated with truth and His perfect love, so that righteousness would characterize their lives.
We believe that transformation takes place in our hearts through the Holy Spirit. Our hope for Downpour is that everyone who comes will encounter the living God on an individual heart level. We simply create opportunity for people to connect their heart to God through whole-hearted worship and clear communication of his Word, the Truth. Our group is made up of students and young adults who seek to know God better and desire to love him more passionately. That is why we meet…that is what we’re about.
If you want to know God is real, if you need to feel his love for you, if you are dissatisfied with “normal Christianity”, if you want to worship freely, if you want to meet peers who are passionate about the things of Christ… if you want more God… join us! There’s a place for you.
HAITI RELIEF!
Take advantage of the opportunity to worship God through both your words AND your works! Throughout March and April we will continue to accept donations for the rebuilding of a faith-based hospital in Port-au-Prince, Haiti .
