To ignite an undying passion in the hearts of young people for the daily pursuit of Christ likeness.
One passage of Scripture that God used to inspire this vision is found in Philippians 1:20-21. It states, “…it is my eager expectation and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage that now as always Christ will be exalted in me, whether by life or by death. For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Throughout the past three years, God has powerfully transformed the hearts and lives of students he has drawn here. We believe that his plans are bigger still! Our hope, as we head into the next season of following him, is that the change we’ve seen in our students would find its way into their homes. Our prayer is that transformation would not merely mark the lives of the youth, but rather, we would witness God transform families!
It is our desire for students to fuel their passionate pursuit of God by internalizing the Word! Jeremiah 20:9 says: “His Word Is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot.” We believe that true, life-long transformation can only be sustained by the power of God’s Word. Simply, we want the things of God to make sense to those who are seeking! We want students to treasure the Word, to study and know it, and apply the Truth to their daily lives. In all we do, we strive to ignite in the hearts of young people, a love for God fueled by a passion for his Word.
