Becoming a Member
At Destin United Methodist, we’re focused on authentic faith, not being too concerned with the externals of religion. Our desire is to grow in our relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We are committed to becoming people who are actively involved in worship, intimately connected in community and passionately engaged in God's mission here and around the world. It means we act the same way during the week as we do on Sunday. Maybe this kind of authenticity appeals to you. We invite you to visit and see if this might be a place you can call your church home.
Becoming a member:
1. Profess your faith in Jesus Christ.
2. Regularly attend Worship Service
3. Pursue spiritual growth
4. Pray for yourself, others, church, community, country, the world
5. Contribute your time and talents in some area of service
6. Support the church financially in a God-honoring way
7. Invite others to attend church
