Adult Weekday Groups
The Adult Destin Life Groups that are based out of and/or meet at Destin United Methodist Church and the Destin Life Center are designed to help fulfill the Destin UMC Mission Statement of "becoming a community, obedient to Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and commissioned by our Lord to make disciples of all people."
The groups and programs are designed to CONNECT God's children with one another for fellowship and support, working toward an establishment of authentic Biblical community. The groups provide opportunities to LEARN Biblical truth and wisdom that can be depended upon always, facilitating true transformation into a Christian life of discipleship. For those already committed to a life of discipleship, there are groups that provide opportunities to GROW in your relationship with God, learning how to listen to the whispers of Holy Spirit and communicate with God through prayer. Finally, these groups hold opportunities to experience and live out God's purpose for our lives, to SERVE Him and one another through selfless gifts of our time, talents and resources.

Meets EVERY-OTHER Monday in the home of a group member– usually with a light supper. People over 50 studying the Old Testament. This is a Bible-101-type study. Our guidebook is called Journey Through the Bible. It looks at the main characters and messages in each book. It is a simplified study designed to raise questions and give everyone the chance to talk. The format gives us a chance to fellowship as well as learn.

Coming in April! United Methodist Women of Destin will be hosting the Pensacola District Mission Study on Sudan on Saturday, April 17th in the Destin Life Center. We are expecting approximately 100 ladies from various Churches in the area.

W.O.W. is a group of Women that meet on Wednesday for fellowship and Bible Study. These ladies love Beth Moore and her enthusiasm for sharing The Word. Meetings begin with fellowship and video presentation, then break into small groups for discussion.
Current Study: Jesus The One and Only by Beth Moore. Come along with Beth Moore on a life-changing journey which will lead you through the hills of Galilee with the Teacher across the lake with the Master, and, finally on the road with the Savior – His face set toward the cross.
