Sunday Morning Groups
Destin United Methodist is home to a growing number of Sunday Groups that meet weekly from 10:05-11:00AM. Groups are Bible-centered and cover an array of topics from “Bible Basics” and “Who is Jesus?” to spiritual growth and applying Biblical truths to our everyday lives. All groups offer fun, fellowship and support and promote small-group discussion.
We invite and encourage you to participate in any of our current Sunday Morning Groups, listed below:
First Steps Newcomer's Class
Learn how to Get Connected, experience the joy of serving as a volunteer, join the church, or just find out more about who we are and what we do. Rev. Tom and Anita Sharron extend a warm welcome and invite you to attend the First Steps Newcomer's Class!
Classes are held in the Destin Life Center Room 707. You can choose from one of any of the following upcoming classes:

Pathfinders
Join us as we examine how to use our Bibles as the "Parenting Handbook" for raising children of all ages. As Christian parents, our role is to be Christ like and just like Christ shepherds His flock we are tasked to shepherd our children. Come join the Pathfinders as we share experiences, learn, and receive support from each other.

Whether you have studied the Bible for years or you are just beginning your spiritual journey, you are welcome to join us as we dig deeply into the life-changing Word of God. This spring, Brie Engeler and Jo Spivey will teach how to mine the truths of Scripture using a variety of tools, working your way from accurate interpretation to practical application. The focus this semester will be the Gospel of John and the life we find in Jesus Christ! See you there!

In an effort to accomplish this, we meet every Sunday morning to study a book of the Bible by focusing on a few verses. There is no commitment necessary and no homework! Current Study: Cultivating Contentment: A Women of Faith Bible Study.
Life can be so hard, so frustrating, and so daily! The trick is to face life’s twists and turns with grace. It doesn't come naturally, and isn't learned quickly, but it can be learned! Come, and allow God to cultivate a heart of contentment in you. In this Women of Faith study, you'll learn how to find satisfaction in daily living, hopping over the pitfalls along the way.
