Our Mission
Our mission is to follow Christ and connect to God and each other, to grow in the habits of Jesus, and to serve others in the spirit of Jesus, thereby becoming a community of the Holy Spirit.
Our Vision
We will be a vital part of the Body of Christ that transcends all barriers. Our congregation will meet in multiple locations exuding life and love. Our services will be dynamic and eventful, drawing people from all ages and stages of life to interact in worship, learning, fellowship, and service. People will be drawn in and transformed weekly by the presence of God and by age level ministries defined by excellence. We will develop fully devoted Christ followers who will be leaders in our beach communities and around the world for the global Christian mission.Our Strategy
- Preach and teach the Gospel of Luke on Sundays and in small groups for one year.
- Connect and grow Christ followers through 12 new small groups with a net gain of 144 people.
- Connect and grow 100 Christ followers who become new members.
- Serve through a cross culture mission experience.
- Serve the beach communities and beyond through the Week of Blessings.
- Develop and implement a debt liquidation plan.
- Develop a Ministry Action Plan (MAP) for every program area.
- Develop and implement a Destin Life Center (DLC) Action Plan.
- Develop a MAP and Building Plan for Children’s Ministries.
- Connect to God by beginning the year with 31 days of prayer in January 2011.
- Average 30 persons at FirstLight, Prayer and Holy Communion on Wednesdays at 7 am.
